UK+Ireland #Top15 Cinema Box Office 08 Dec 25 - #Zootropolis2/#Zootopia2 saw a less than 30% drop off in earnings to now on its 2nd week of release reach No.1. It's good to see three films have earned over £3Million each. Shame that #TheRunningMan (2025) fell out of the #Top10.

#DeathByLighting #Netflix 4/5. Cracking witty dramatisation of the events that led to US President Garfield shooting. #MatthewMacfadyen was terrific as the hapless chancer whose delusions of grandeur made him believe he had the duty to kill. #MichaelShannon was a great Garfield.

#Zootopia2/#Zootropolis2 3/5. It's a joy to simply return to the #Zootopia world seeing our buddy cops #NickWilde and #JudyHopps on a brand new case. But it wasn't as clever as the last film, and it does fall into the trap of using the same trick with most direct villain.

#RiotWomen #BBC 4/5. The shows creator #SallyWainwright's voice comes out so clearly through her characters as the variety of struggles that women over 40's & 50's face. While some quite serious topics are delicately handled, the show has good judgement when to introduce levity.

#Frankenstein (2025) #NetflixFilm 4/5. #GuillermoDelToro puts his stamp on the classic #MaryShelley tale to make this a worthwhile version. I did like the creature design just fine, but I felt they could have pushed it more with deformity of being made of different body parts.

#TheRunningMan (2025) 4/5. #EdgarWright stretches his muscles to make this pacey action thriller that has a mix satire. While there is a dash of Wright's humour, this film does miss his typical style. #GlenPowell is great in the role as the everyman frustrated by the bent system.

#BlackRabbit #Netflix 3/5. #JudeLaw and #JasonBateman made good brothers in trouble. Bateman was especially good as the addict brother who kept on screwing up. It was a bit repetitive of hitting road blocks, getting out of trouble only to run into more problems.

#PredatorBadlands 3/5. An interesting experiment to see a #Predator as a protagonist could carry a film in this series. I would say having them as the villains works best. But this was a decent movie with nice action moments. #ElleFanning was entertaining as the damaged synth.

#Bugonia 4/5. A fantastic film, which certainly isn't your run of the mill kidnapping story. I was gripped throughout, and the film expressed opinions on capitalism and disconnection from society. This would've been perfect if there was some extra detail on one narrative point.

#JurassicWorldRebirth 4/5. Watching this with the lense of a mutant monster disaster movie there's alot of fun to be had with latest entry of #JurassicPark series. The story is nice and simple. New characters were distinctive & for the most part unique enough. Nicely directed.
