#PlayDirty (2025) #PrimeVideo Movie 3/5. There is enjoyment to be had from this pacy crime thriller. Wahlberg does his tough guy act, but at times, I felt he was miscasted, especially in the scenes that called for wit, as I thought of more suitable actors for the role.

UK+Ireland #Top15 Cinema Box Office 13 Oct 2025. Unsurprisingly, Tron Ares got to No.1, and I guess it will have a big drop off. #OneBattleAfterAnother proved itself to be holding firm at No.2 as it saw a respectful 37% drop off. Happy for #ISwear debuting at No.3 with £1.1Mill.

#Rustin #NetflixFilm (2023) 3/5. An enjoyable biopic of civil rights campaigner #BayardRustin, which had an upbeat tempo to it aided by jazz infused soundtrack. Also, the film demonstrated the frusting thing of the left side of politics where there is wasteful in fighting.

#ISwear 4/5. An uplifting film about #JohnDavidson's struggles faced living his life with #Tourettes. While it showcased the bigots who treat people with disabilities as freaks, it also showcased the best parts of society, like #PaulMullan & #MaxinePeake characters want to help.

UK+Ireland #Top10 Cinema Box Office September 2025. The Conjuring Last Rites was king of the box office for this month. Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale had the British home advantage to reach to No.2. While I've never seen Demon Slayer, I'm glad an anime film cracked the #Top5.

UK+Ireland #Top15 Cinema Box Office 06 Oct 25. The Swifties sent Taylor Swift's Official Release Party Of A Showgirl to the No. 1 spot. #OneBattleAfterAnother saw a strong 21% drop off from last week to earn £1.9Million. Surprised #TheSmashingMachine didn't cracking a million.

#OneBattleAfterAnother 4/5. Cracking thriller which was stronger in the last two thirds. The film, in a mature way, explores matters militarisation of policing and racisim. #ChaseInfiniti shows that she's got a bright future as she was able to go up against the likes of #DiCapro.

UK+Ireland #Top15 UK Cinema Box Office 29 Sep 2025. #OneBattleAfterAnother did well to get to No.1 woth £2.2Million. #Hamilton was just £700k behind at No.2 with £1.7Million. On its third week Downton Abby: The Grand Finale still bringing a healthy amount of business.

#MarvelZombies #DisneyPlus 4/5. Great to have #ImanVellani have another prominent role in the #MCU. The goryiness was fun, but this may not suit young fans. I think it would have been better if we had an extra episode at the start centered on the bond between Kamala, Riri & Kate.

#Mascots #NetflixFilm (2016) 3/5. Good bunch of characters & an entertaining plot about Mascots. A few good chuckles here and there, but the biggest gut busting laugh was the introduction to the Croydon guy. If you have a spare 90 minutes and need something light, check this out.

#AlienEarth #FX/#Hulu 5/5. The performances of the synthetic characters invoking kids behavior in adult bodies were brilliant. The incredible writing explored themes, like the power of oligarchs, elevated this #Alien TV spin off into something truly meaty and thought provoking.

#TheMandalorianAndGrogu Official Trailer. Does it look like it will be entertaining? Yes. But there was nothing here to make me think that wasn't just a trailer for a fourth season of #TheMandalorian. Also, the CGI didn't look great.

#Hostage #Netflix 3/5. The initial plot of a UK Prime Minister dealing with her husband's kidnapping has a good concept to explore and its progress was twisty enough to continue with. But the second half was a bit of a poor man's #Spooks, not helped by silly far fetched things.

#TheLongWalk 4/5. #DavidJonsson was the best part of this film with his performance while playing off other terrific young actors like #CooperHoffman and #BenWang. #MarkHamill was good as the villainous Major. Great story of men bonding while going through a hellish experience.

#HeadsOfState #PrimeVideo Movie 3/5. Really good action buddy comedy. #JohnCena's movie action hero turned US President paired with #IdrisElba's uptight ex-military UK Prime Minister elevated the material. Some great sequences. But some parts a bit too silly.

UK+Ireland #Top15 Cinema Box Office 08 Sep 25 - The Conjuring: Last Rites has had the biggest debut since #TheFantasticFourFirstSteps. Nice to see 15 Certificate rated #TheRosesMovie only dipped to No.2 and still earned over £1Million.

#DenOfThieves2Pantera 3/5. The 1st #DenOfThieves was a very good gritty cops versus robbers heist movie, while this new film I thought the buddying up of #GeraldButler and #JacksonOShea was too friendly and too quick, there needed more an element of mistrust. This heist was good.
