You can find me over at my Mastodon Instances.

You know I'm curious what playing Kings Quest and Crash Bandicoot 2 is liked when youre stoned.

I feel bad for the black lady though, can you imagine having someone like that for a younger brother?
December 18, 2025 at 3:25 AM
Maybe it's because that's how many murder mysteries I've watched.

But I had a suspicion the old lady was one of the murderers of the old man preist.

In Knives Out.

For context, I have a bit of a history with UFO cults. It's one of the original reasons why I initially swung left.

"You said we're going to have Superintelligence, not a game of Cthulhu Bandicoot."
December 18, 2025 at 12:46 AM
With a heavy focus on language immersion.

Crash Bandicoot meets Silent Hill / Call Of Cthulhu.

If I ever got the chance to work in Japan, the first thing I want to do is see if I interest that thing in play testing my games I'm developing.

( For those who don't know, I'm going for more of an Artificial Dungeon Master approach to AI. )
December 17, 2025 at 4:38 PM
Anyway if true, I can kind of see why Japan got there first. Given Asian countries have aging populations, and a dwindling population.

( I trust Japan way more with AGI than the US, lets put it that way. )

When you're into some of the stuff I'm into, AGI is not that terribly interesting.

I already have some ideas and theories on how Superintelligence might work.
December 17, 2025 at 4:26 PM
Also I'm really pleasantly surprised by how straight forward Ada is, it's nothing like C++.
December 17, 2025 at 5:47 AM
There's your logline, "Computational mythology as measured beliefs."
December 17, 2025 at 3:10 AM
But do those extra dimensional being use OKCupid? C'est une question.
December 17, 2025 at 2:11 AM
Yes, I would be genuinely interested in knowing what Lions and Tigers really think. As they're friend shaped, and yet not friends.
December 17, 2025 at 2:06 AM
I don't consider humans the only form of intelligence on Earth, rather that all animals are capable of some kind of intelligence, but different species might have specify things that they specialize in.

While not quite N Cortex, I do find Uplifting animals to human like intelligence interesting.

( As suppose to Ai slop. )
December 17, 2025 at 1:02 AM
Gothic Rock and Metal is pretty neat as well.
December 17, 2025 at 1:02 AM
There we go, that's more my speed: Area 51 and Crash Bandicoot. And of course Kpop and Jpop.
December 17, 2025 at 1:02 AM
Also a more honest Steampunk would be even be dystopic than the what really happened in the 19th century as well.

My main issue with Retrofuturism: it can be slapped onto things that, other than maybe depicting anachronisms like having the guillotine still be the default method of execution, otherwise has nothing retro about it.

Usually when a fascist country brings back elements from the past, it's not
December 16, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Specifically the more understandable by humans I make my stuff, the less LLMs and Chatbots seem to understand it.

That or I'm making some pretty alien stuff ( which ...doesn't seem likely to me. )
December 16, 2025 at 9:34 PM
I'm basically having to implement my own solutions just to be able to handle string manipulation the same way it seems like other DSL seems to exclusively handles numbers.
December 16, 2025 at 9:29 PM
Also it's the opposite, the more I explore data science in general, the more non interesting and inadequate LLMs and Generative AI really is.
