Awkward, random, and sarcastic. I like being creative, and learning new things.

I may be a grown ass adult, and I may no longer live in New England, but that didn't stop me from printing out Market Baskets Halloween coloring contest sheet. Nostalgia hit me real hard, lol.
Couldn't figure out why I was so cold, looked at the temperature. What do you mean it's 41°? When did this happen? Has it been getting cold at night? I mean, I know it's been in the 50s lately, but I can tolerate that for the most part. But once it's under about 52° is when I start feeling cold, lol
Side note: Something I’m surprised wasn’t mentioned here, people tend to call Cumberland Farms “Cumbies“. They’re basically our 7-11, BTW.
I really feel like you can’t appreciate these skits if you’re not from New England. 🤣
When people in Indiana don’t understand my Boston attitude, I always want to show them a couple SNL skits, which were clearly written by someone from Boston, because they got it spot on. 😂 m.youtube.com/watch?v=FSvN...

So every Spring and Summer I talk about the B nextdoor, because she's always WATCHING me. I didn't notice her doing it this year. So, she either stopped, or she set up cameras to watch me that way. I'm not paranoid for no reason, she's been creepily watching me for like 8 or 9 years. Why stop now? 😅
I see a lot of people say that listening to audio books is the same as reading. As someone who reads, and has listened to audio books, I simply don't understand how some people consider listening the same as reading. They're very different experiences, and I like them each for their differences.
One of my random favorite memories from school was in 3rd grade when my teacher gave us a Fall project to do when we got home. It was to find colorful leaves, and preserve them in wax paper. I didn't know that was a thing, and was so excited doing it, lol.
September flew by, but I swear October is going in slow motion.
Granted, she has a few more weeks out there, but I have my doubts she will end up doing much of anything.
Roomie has been in New York for 5 days now, and hasn't done anything except hang out in a tiny apartment in the Bronx with a couple of creepy weirdos. 😅 She's always wanted to go NYC, but hasn't seen or done anything there yet, creepy dude keeps pushing off plans to do things. Which I predicted.
Apparently Thirstea has been open for two years and I had no idea, until I checked the Too Good to Go app (which I haven't looked at in ages), and they were on there. Got 2 mystery boba teas for $4 and they're so good! This one is strawberry (the other one is mango)...
I really miss 90s Mentos commercials.
Some of the red flags...
Pushy
Overbearing
Controlling
Clingy
Hovering
Love bombing

I'm sure I forgot a couple things.
Roomie has this guy friend, and he has so many red flags and I don't think she sees it. Which is scary, because she's visiting with him for a month in NY. I've met him and seen his Facebook posts, dude is one of those self proclaimed "nice guys" who isn't nice, you know?
Random, but one of the weird things for me when I moved to Indy, was the fact the city/state does not have a free curbside recycling program for its residents. We had free curbside recycling in Lawrence, MA (no idea if it was statewide) long before I moved out here (I moved 18 years ago).
Feeling a little blah tonight, so I am staying up late, watching Practical Magic.
With everything I heard about Sinners, I had high expectations for it. Unfortunately, I feel like it was a bit over hyped. Some parts were fine, but I kept getting bored and distracted.
Anyone ever notice tons of job descriptions claim they have a flexible schedule, but they never really do? They want YOU to be flexible for THEM. But they don't want to give you any flexibly you may need.
Like, I have that much power that jobs allowed me to show up and leave at the wrong time, and movies started and ended at the wrong times, all for me? Oh, and they've been doing it for 18 years now. Damn, I need to use this power for other things. 😂
Same brother had a huge argument with me, insisting I moved to a different time zone and everyone was lying to me because they were afraid of me and didn't want to tell me the truth. Again, he was serious.
Idiotic thing my moronic brother said to me when I was moving to Indy: "You can't like the Patriots, you have a new home now, you have to like the Colts." (He was serious)... Umm, moving somewhere else doesn't mean you have to like their sports teams. 😅
They also tried to tell me they sell them in the grocery store and she called them as tip steak ... That's something different. It's. Not. The. Same. Thing. 😅

Please stop trying to insist New England style steak tips exist outside of New England, because they really don't.
Someone just tried to tell me that steak tips (a very specific New England thing) exist in the south. No, they don't. There is at least one place that has "steak tips" on the menu, but it's not the same thing we do in New England.
