Sea serpent faucets that have a black patina adorn the deep marble bathtub in the Charlottenburg Palace. Around the tub are rich wood panels and molding. There is a window (out of view) behind the faucets, so light is coming in, illuminating the faucets and tub.

Am unteren Bildrsnd ein Lagerfeuer am sandigen Ufer eines Flusses. In der Nähe Menschen, als schwarze Schemen erkennbar. In der Mitte der Fluss, dahinter Häuser, alles sehr dunkel. Darüber graublauer, bewölkt Himmel. Ein Fluss im Wald, mit grünlich schimmerndem Wasser, in dem sich die umstehenden Bäume spiegeln. An der rechten unteren Bildecke ein Teil der Ufers. Von dort ausgehend führt ein Weg aus Steinen durch den Fluss Am oberen linken Bildrand das gegenüberliegende Ufer, dahinter Bäume. Vom unteren Bildrand bis zur Hälfte des Bildes eine Wiese mit einigen höheren Gräsern. Dahinter steigen Nebelschwaden nach oben, dahinter Waldbäume. Ein Rotmilan im Flug, vor blauem Himmel mit leichten Schleierwolken.
