Just ol’ okra, keeping it real ☮️.

Okra plant, after harvesting the okra pods, leaving behind a beautiful crème yellow bloom, quite large, with dark red and black center recessed deeply, long slender green leaves grow on layered branches below the bloom at top. Bloom captured in stage light portrait style with dramatic vignette.

Hello BlueSky! Happy Friday=)
For #FishyFriday #seascape #ArtYear #art 24” x 36” acrylic on canvas … painted this as a play on space… now belongs to a friend, was a fun exercise:) Love big canvas!

Acrylic underwater seascape, painted in bright tropical colors, viewed from the sea floor looking up to water with shining light diffused from the horizon, has corals, sea grasses/plants, fish, framed in white, but has a cute brown sea turtle exploring from the outside frame, entering into the seascape , in 3-D fashion.

For #Spooktober #nightmre and #hARToween25 #shadowspirit resharing my acrylic painting 12”x18” of a hatted shape moving closer to me one night while I slept with another family member- we both saw it. I cannot forget it. I was 13, not scared, but did not understand what it was until years later.

My painting of me sleeping in a darkened room in a bed, but being able to see shadows, feeling something keep moving closer to me to then bend over so close to my face that I felt a presence but not a person. What I felt was seen by a family member awakened from her sleep next to me.. I remember seeing a dark hatted shape standing next to me, until I fell asleep. This later confirmed at breakfast the next day with my sleep mate, who had stayed awake to watch it, paralyzed, for another two hours, until it left.

Have healthy love for trains...your pic is quiet, beautiful...grew up in central FL- many, many years ago...can remember our group of neighborhood kids roaming the backwoods, following trains rolling down the track....thank you for the memories =)

So… at the end of my day, or…sometimes very early in the morning, I enjoy all that you post - yes, political or visual, all is really special, and the art may make me, hmm… emotional. I strive for this creativity. Glad you have it- just that you are using all levers… keep it going!!! Inspirational.
