It’s important to understand these levels are insanely low even at the highest recorded levels. Body builders went and got bloodwork done after these articles came out and have the normal amount of lead in their blood despite multiple servings of vegan powder a day.
Lead is in everything we eat.

Like yeah your keyboard and launchpad are going to work fine... MIDI isn't a problem. It's audio.
I use only external sound sources. Synths, guitar, microphones.
My sound card only shows stereo(1/2) input though has 18 inputs.
It shows only 2 of my 24 outputs.
Insane crackling, insane latency.

Looking up Ableton in Linux you're just going to see the same thing over and over... either switch to a different OS (OSX or Windows,) or switch to a different DAW entirely (Bitwig) but suffer through hardware not working properly.

Because it's running through Wine, it adds a couple hundred MS in latency when communicating with external hardware. It's just something you can't avoid. With Windows I can get it down to 18MS but it's a minimum of 230MS in Linux regardless of factors such as custom drivers or distro.

Sadly Linux doesn’t work for anyone who does music creation as a hobby using primarily hardware/outboard.
Nothing I use has Linux support. Ableton doesn’t work properly.
Audio is a mess and has incredibly high latency.

I have to have Windows on my PC to do what I enjoy.
Linux secondary.

For me, dysphoria isn't an envy, jealousy or a desire to experience something I'm not. It's a grating, clawing, unending need to change oneself. No matter how I try I'm inadequate at being what I feel I am.
So I don't experience species dysphoria in that sense. I don't need to change.

Identifying as a cat is something I’ve done casually for a long time. But it’s something that doesn’t override my humanity but exists alongside it. Duality. The humanity offers benefits the lynx does not have in its own “appropriate” body and relishes in what it can do as a result.

I don’t know if I can say I experience species dysphoria because the emotions don’t feel aren’t really the same as gender dysphoria. It’s more of an envy. I don’t envy cis women I just feel I am a woman and need to modify myself to adjust. Dysphoria is more of a feeling of inadequacy.

On the topic of therians, therianism, and myself: I find myself distant from the concept sometimes cuz my personal feelings are: I accept my humanity, and my body, and I don’t take for granted what that offers me.

But I also do experience a lot of what a therian is said to be or feel.
