He was completely out coached 2nd half last night. Sunderland went with 3 in centre midfield and forced the ball to Edmundsen and Ayling.

We’ll never know and that was the tactics- trying to keep a clean sheet and pinching a goal doesn’t work in PL. Was a frustrating and a wasted season.

Not for me. Our mistakes and goals against are terrible but we’ve never had high scoring teams until now. Karanka defended his way to relegation.
There’s a balance to be found and should be easier to coach us to defend properly than get Burnley to score.
