A figure with a contorted, sorrowful face and black streaked tears in their eyes nuzzles and cradles another figure, who is missing their head. In place of the head is a lit, half melted red candle, which dribbles wax that mixes with the blood from the wound, onto both figures. The lighting is stark, shadowy, and yellow. A meat cleaver, with arms reached, lays abandoned on the floor, stained with red, and a long arcing streak of thick red liquid spatters the ground. The lit candles creates a glowing halo of yellow light that frames the headless figures' lack of head, and shoulders.

Ah...the vent. The piece comes across as an expressive expulsion, and its got the furious energy of something that needed to be gotten out of you. The exact tenor of what it is that needed to be gotten out of you I couldn't speculate at. But I've been there, at least.
