And now that the confirmation that I've got the basic fundamentals around the platforms down, it's time to get move on to Solutions Architect and focus on actually applying them.

The interesting thing about getting layed off with a reasonable-ish severance, is you get some time to actually focus on things you find interesting.

Being unemployed has given me time, and motivation, to get some of those professional certs I'd been pushing off. Initial Google Cloud one secured, now to get its AWS equivalent.

One of the first things I'd tell anyone I ever gave a company issued device: you have no reasonable expectation of privacy using this device or any of the company's services. That means everything you think it does, act accordingly.

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.
Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

I work at a pretty progressive tech company. I’d venture the vast majority of people I work with have no idea what goes in DC/Government; unless they’re on a team that interacts with it.
Most people are wildly uninformed about politics in any meaningful way.
