There are many topics I would like to discuss here but sadly my shyness and mental health don't help. It's like idk how to talk to people online. It's frustrating, really. I don't want my account to be a repository of reposts. I want to have a more active role here but it's been very difficult.

Phone companies charged according to how long you used it so it was mostly used to send short messages. I saw it in some old or historical movies & I was fascinated by a typewriter that typed itself. That was bc it was at the receiving end. They even had their own phone number.

I find some old technology interesting. This is a Telex machine or Teletype or Teleprinter. It may seem like a typewriter but in the days before internet and even fax, this was the fastest way to send a message. It even allowed you to "talk" in real time, like a chat.

And I'm aware the brain lies to us, specifically the subconscious "wiring" of the brain which is responsible for fear. Nevertheless, I'm still trying. Maybe some day I'll find some good company. Oh and by the way, it's also been a joy to interact with you, my friend. 💚

You touched some very important points there. I too suffer from bad self esteem and fear of getting hurt, and also have poor social skills. But I do want to find company. Good company. It's just that I don't know how to do that, likely because of the aforementioned poor social skills.

I have come to terms with that, to a small degree. My dificulty is finding those who might enjoy my company. My shy and introvert nature makes it difficult to find someone to call a friend or even an acquittance. Both online and irl. But I'm trying.

Additional context:

The scammer will induce urgency by claiming someone else is impersonating you but they accidentally reported your account instead. They claim your account will be deleted unless you contact “Bluesky Support” via Discord.

After that, they’ll attempt to get your credentials.

If you receive a random DM like this, immediately report and block. Do not engage.

This is part of a phishing scam that works to steal your account. They ask you to contact “support” via Discord and will lock you out.

Seen dozens of reports like this, it finally happened to me.

How do i say this, I know this is super dumb and I just want to say sorry because I reported a fraud/phising links issue to Bluesky Support and accidentally used your account info which totally caused a mix-up. I didn't think it'd turn into a big deal, but now Support is saying it could get your account deleted or your IP blocked.
I feel awful about it as I was just super stressed and confused and totally messed up. I really need your help to reach out to them and explain what happened or file an appeal to clear things up. I'm so sorry again, I didn't mean for any of this to happen.
