Al Michaels announcing the Bears, Eagles game today used the phrase: "Cacophony of crap..." and I thought, what a perfect synopsis of the DJT admin so far. CACOPHONY of CRAP. I'm acquiring this one.

The US deficit is approaching ww2 levels as a percent of GDP.

Because of the “Big Beautiful Bill” that GOP voted for.

We are spending more on INTEREST than on anything else including the military.

This is a time bomb, and the GOP is responsible. Fiscal conservative my ass

NEW: King Charles heckled in the streets of the UK today about Epstein.

The Prime Minister’s chief of staff & comms director both resigned over the weekend because of Epstein.

There is a very real chance Keir Starmer will not survive the week.

Dear America, this is what consequence looks like.

Amongst other things, this again highlights the core point about due process. It’s bad enough to be in a “show me your papers” situation, but your precious citizen/non-citizen, “legal”/“illegal” distinctions are meaningless when you can’t prove anything to authorities because they don’t give a shit.

So let me get this straight. The U.S. Attorney’s Office had a draft statement announcing Jeffrey Epstein’s “suicide” dated August 9, 2019. He didn’t die until August 10. Totally normal. Nothing to see here.

I'm honestly surprised mass-market paperbacks were still a thing in the US. I don't think I've seen a new one in the UK in twenty years.
