The company that bought the one I work for has a "use it or lose it" policy for PTO. I've got 8 hours of PTO I need to use or lose forever. I was going to extend the upcoming holidays by a day (either one, I didn't care). Both are blacked out. So I'm taking next Monday off for a 3 day weekend.

Just finished setting up the rest of the chapters from Phoenix Rising on my blog. Trying to find pictures to go with the chapters (not being an artist and not being able to afford an artist to draw the damn pictures) is frustrating. Now back to revisions on the OTHER projects. #writingcommunity

Past me is an ass. Left myself a note in the document that said "Rewrite scene. It's a mess." I've just reread the scene three times. It's not a mess. I don't see what past me saw. Could I have been more helpful to myself and said WHY I thought it was a mess? Revisions are fun. #writingcommunity

So fucking pissed right now. Bitchy manager just accused me of lying about being chronically ill & forging all my medical paperwork that lets me WFH & have my intermittent medical leave. Like WTF? I CAN'T forge it. The company who handles LOA/FMLA/WFH contacts the actual dr.
