At the same time, this accomplishment comes after a long period of searching for both my partner and I. We know that landing jobs in the same region takes a significant amount of luck, and we remain in solidarity with all of our colleagues still navigating the job market.
I have truly wonderful students and colleagues, who I'm delighted to continue working with.
I'm thrilled to finally be able to announce that I've accepted a tenure-track position in the Geography department at Colgate University, where I've been a visitor for the past year and a half!
