Trying something new

The two on the left sit behind the cliff, lower down the mountain while the one on the right is in the foreground. There’s a thick layer of atmosphere that separates three layers of mountains from the foreground cliff. They are lit from behind by the sun which sits above them. It’s a high key painting so areas lit by the sun are compressed and brighter than they would normally be with some areas coming close to white. Shadows are in the middle value range and contain most of the detail in the painting.
