BTW, symptoms of NPD include: a lack of empathy, delusions of grandeur, (always thinking you’re better/the best,) refusing to accept responsibility for anything, and always making yourself the center of attention. Untreated, the person will keep getting worse until they’re living in a fantasy world

A lot of what we did in reaction to 9/11 has been a bad idea. (Looking at you, Patriot Act…)
Just a reminder that ICE didn't exist until 2002. It's not some longstanding institution that must be maintained. It was created as a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11, and it could be gotten rid of as easily as it was created.

The Nazis had been using JP Morgan until JP Morgan was forced to stop working with them (by law) when the US entered the war. Corporations have cultures
JPMorgan banked a sex trafficker for years $200 million in accounts, millions in fees, introductions to Sergey Brin and Netanyahu. Employees flagged the cash withdrawals funding his crimes; executives saw only profit. One might call it complicity, but that suggests they didn't know. They knew.
