RIGHT?! The animation really isn’t all that bad for its time and the budget and program they were given! But the story telling? The characterizations? The expansion of the world?? That was ALL so golden; and the artsyle is SO iconic

Like maaannnn nothing is beating watching Sonic 3 in theaters for the early showing, especially with the crowd that was just as excited about it. Excitedly chatting about it the entire way home with friends in the car

I MISS Year of Shadow so much. It really felt like a love letter to SA2 and its long time fans. It was SO nice to have Shadow come back and being treated so well as a character, and to have more of the Robotnik’s story being fleshed out. From the Movie, Dark Beginnings, the Manga
