Both take a real life concept and greatly embellish and dramatize it. The characters dress and act much more extravagantly (and often impractically) than what would be allowed or accepted for their real life counterparts. And of course, everyone has weird names

Umamusme is kinda similar to Ace Attorney if you think about it
Both are set it a somewhat realistic modern world with inexplicable supernatural elements which are acknowledged by everyone yet not really questioned (spirit channeling/the 3 goddesses stuff and the uma dream plane)

Got an idea for a small comic with proper paneling and camera angles. It would probably take a few days, but I'd like to try my hand at it and see how it turns out
