It started raining in California since midnight. Torrential rain. Also cold. When it rains in California, I get very agitated. Because it doesn't rain much here. This morning, I went out for an urgent task with just an umbrella, fearing heavy rain. A few selfies along with celebrating the rain.

The shutdown is going on in America. Of course! The US government shutdown is a complex and dramatic event. Meanwhile, the president did not receive the Nobel Prize. Times are not sweet. Still, voting is a right for change and democracy. I voted.
