(1/2) Next week, we will once again be hosting our annual Christmas Concert, when our pupils showcase their musical talent performing a number of festive classics. Taking place on Thursday 11th December from 7.00pm. Tickets are available from the Malet lambert shop: shop.maletlambert.co.uk.

Pupils/staff have been busy preparing Christmas shoeboxes in support of Age UK. At Christmas, some elderly people experience loneliness and isolation. Hopefully by giving out Christmas shoeboxes, we can help brighten their season. Today, a team of pupils took the donations to the drop-off point.

We are really looking forward to seeing our local community and friends at the Malet Lambert Christmas Fayre.

This is our first fayre and we hope it will become our new tradition.

Thank you to Head Pupil Daria for representing the school at the Cenotaph on Sunday for the Remembrance service. All year groups have had informative assemblies on the tradition and importance of remembrance and the school will be observing the two-minute silence later today.

We are pleased to announce that the winning Year Group for this week's attendance is Year 7 and the winning House is Lion.
For being the best attending tutor groups this week, both 10KDR and 7SCK were rewarded with a surprise of cookies to have during registration this morning.

Today, pupils, staff and visitors gathered to commemorate the opening of our new PLT Base. Thank you to the Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull and Admiral of the Humber, Cheryl Payne, for cutting the ribbon and officially opening this new, brilliant space for our PLT.

Registration for the DofE Award Bronze for Y9s is now open.
The deadline to return letters, to either Mr Smith or Miss Woolhouse, is 21st Nov, with the £10 deposit payable via ParentPay. Y10s who are completing their Bronze Award will some receive information regarding their expedition.

This week, our Y11 pupils have had an assembly with Mr Fortune. With the start of their mock exams 4 weeks away, Mr Fortune reminded the Y11s of the revision strategies they covered last half term. They were also reminded of the importance of upcoming college open evenings and application deadlines.

Day 4 of International Week.
Thanks to the Dialogue Society for presenting their seminar 'The Life of a Chickpea'. Also, thanks to Kelsang Lekmo from the Madhyamaka Kadampa Centre for their talk on Buddhism.
Our pupils have also watched 'The Walk', a film centring on the hardships faced by refugees.
