Cancer patients especially survivors can be grateful they are alive or in remission while also being upset it happened at all,that they needed treatment,surgeries,and have life altering changes to their bodies and finances. Toxic positivity helps no one. #oncsky #cansky #cancer

I never went back for follow-up checks after my Treatment. Sometimes some of us just might not want to know. If I got a recurrence, I am most certainly doomed. I would rather not know and just (as my Dad always said) 'wake up dead' one morning. 🤨

Everyone is different though. I hate my body post-cancer. 😐Yes it tried to kill me, and treatment halted that, but now it seems to try to kill me slower or at least make my life much more difficult, as it was affected by the treatment 😮. #damncancer

How the actual fuck can anyone say that!?!? I was so sick when in cancer treatment; and in such a way that is inexplicable to anyone who has never had Chemo. I had never felt that ill!! FFS, like we cancer people don't have enough to be getting on with. #damncancer 🤬

You should provide information on Pelvic Radiation Disease; which includes severe bowel symptoms such as diarrhoea, crampy pain, urgency, frequency and nausea. More people have pelvic radiotherapy and are suffering in silence as Drs. think it's 'just IBS'. It is NOT. See www.prda.org.uk #damncancer
