Hello to my new followers! On top of posting round Robins I also draw a Viking-Age comic called the Hogback Saga. Its about groups of Norse settlers that have been ousted from Dublin trying to form a new community as part of Strathclyde, the last kingdom of the North Britons.
as someone that was involved in both digital art and history I felt lucky there was a brief moment online that was amazing for making connections for friendship and access to academic work and research, capitalisms death cult death march has shattered it all to the fringes
beyond just opposing ai as an artist, the thought of a new generation brought up constantly around photo realistic ai pictures and videos as default fills me with dread

One of the things I found interesting when doing research for my talk is it feeling like a major focus for Wessex with its foreign policy was stopping Scotland and Strathclyde from aligning with the Norse but its belligerent attitude making that all but inevitable
