On the one hand, trailers for a playthrough of a game aren't really necessary. On the other hand, I love making trailers.

As of now, the playthrough is fully edited and queued up. It'll be put out every Sunday (because of the church theme in the chapter 4 lol) starting Feb 15. I don't expect chapter 5 to release in that time, but if it does, I'll release them faster!

The thing that also irks me a LOT in their statement is that they make a point of specifying that the data is deleted "in most/some cases", like they want have that technicality in case they did get caught lying

With the Discord stuff happening, I hope that if all these Patreon artists decide to use an alternative, they still have some way to provide a community server, cause it's like The thing I look for when I'm subbing. I love these communities

I remember in 2012 with Go-Busters, the show seemed to branch out and do things differently, then it got retooled in the second half to be formulaic since being different seemed to impact ratings. But then, the ratings had been going badly already so maybe that's more speculative

From what a Toei producer explained, it was a mix of things; Streaming gave people access to a lot of must-see TV was one, and being such a formulaic series meant people didn't prioritize it much. Victims of their own decision to stick to routine...

To give an idea of how differently the design has turned out.
I used to depict her as being slimmer than Digo with tiny horns, but wanted to make them more evened out.

From where I paused my editing, I basically redid the rest of the audio from that session (about 30 min worth) where I speak Noelle, Susie etc's lines, just so I could more easily just chop up a single audio track instead of constantly alternating between two tracks. It saved me a lot of time.

A sound idea in concept, but when it comes to editing down the audio, it meant working with two tracks. I literally had a separate video editor window open just to give myself a clean workspace to do this in. But it's so time consuming.

Forgot to add, I made the recording process difficult for myself on Noelle's house segment lol
I recorded the dialogue all in one go, so every voice line in order of appearance. Afterwards I realized the pitch filter used for Noelle was way too high, which meant re-recording her dialogue.

I have technically watched a bit of the original anime, as far as the Arlong Park arc, which was years ago at this point so I couldn't tell you anything that happened. Whether it's The One Piece or the Netflix show, I'll probably watch some version of it in the future.

I still need to give One Piece a proper look, but man it is impressive that the Netflix adaptation seems to be the ideal situation, where the original manga author is pretty involved and/or approving of the decisions made with casting and such. It's unlike what I expect for live action remakes.
