I just heard that SNAP benefits might be affected by the government shutdown. That is going to affect all the students at my school. Many of them reside in households at or below the poverty level. Please help me ensure they have food to eat when they are hungry www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/...

After seeing news reports of fires caused by plugging batteries into the wrong charger, I wonder why manufacturers aren't doing a better job labeling chargers and cords so it is obvious which device goes with what, or designing more plug-compatible devices. Okay, I understand why, but it's wrong.

I don’t even know what to say about the guy wearing a big “Trump. Make America great again’ cowboy hat today. Does he ever wonder what the rest of us see that he doesn’t? When I asked a couple Trumpers what I was missing, I just got a bunch of angry blathering sound bites. Isn’t this guy curious?

You know how prescription drugs have to add so many warnings to their advertisements? Seems like Trump, RFK jr, and Dr Oz ought to include all the warnings whenever they speak about medical things.

I took the walk. Saw deer, ducks, eagles, geese, and a cat. Got strength training restraining my dog while reminding him to use his good cat manners. Please take care of yourself as well.

Took my dog for a 1 mile walk. Saw a buck, 2 does, 2 soaring eagles, 1 black cat, many swimming ducks, and lastly 4 Canadian geese landed next to us. It’s a beautiful morning in Roseville, MN. Excited for Gopher Volleyball this afternoon.

Wishing those for whom life comes easy would do a better job at recognizing the special gifts others bring to the table, and make it their job to create bridges of acceptance. Our society too often rewards the compassion-less fast-talking bullies.

I tested positive today. So far, symptoms are not too bad -dry cough, sore throat. I’ll mask when I go out. I don’t want to pass it on.
