This time they find themselves in the 1890's in France. Matt, Tim, Joey, and Rick all discuss the strange hauntings of the French Opera house and it's secrets below the foundation. That's right it is The Phantom of the Opera. Matt gives us the synopsis from a letter given to him by a strange fellow in a mask that found his way through a hidden room behind a mirror in a dressing room. Matt really points out the significant danger that the opera singer Carollata may face. Rick tells us his thoughts on the Phantom's motivations as well as the relationship between the Phantom, Christine, and her Fiancé. Tim gives us an accounting of where exactly he first fell asleep watching this movie and the subsequent times he had rewatched it because of it's pace. This time the guys peer into the film The Wolf Man starring Lon Chaney Jr. , Claude Rains, and Directed by George Waggner. As the guys sit by the fire of the gypsy camp , they discuss the wonders of the Wolf man. They rap about the use of makeup and effects of Lon Chaney Jr. They also talk about Cybers first time watching this film as well as Tim 's first journey in to this Universal Movie Monster. Matt is given a unique style to rundown the synopsis as he channels a gypsy and Bela Lugosi.  Meanwhile, Joey tells us what he thinks of the effects in the film as well as his usual off color humor for this 1941 film. They are joined tonight with their good friend Cyber from Cybernetic Shark and MCU Bleeding Edge podcasts. As the guys shift through the rubble of Castle Dracula they discover the film canister of the 1931 Classic film Dracula starring Bela Lugosi, Dwight Frye, and Helen Chandler. The four men discuss the films roots on the stage as well as compare it with other takes on Bram Stokers vision of vampires. What better way to mark the milestone than to review the 75th film on the list of 1001 movies to watch before you die.   So the guys have come together to discuss the Marx Brothers film Duck Soup.  Directed by Leo McCarey, starring all four Marx Brothers.   The guys talk about the first time they viewed this film and wouldn't you know it they all agree that this is the first time. So here they go looking at it with modern fresh eyes. The guys talk about the similarities with the classic Looney Toons and 40's cartoons.  Matt channels a 1930's film reel to give us the synopsis like a war correspondent on a news report.
