The biggest problem with the webp format really is mostly compatibility issues. SPECIFICALLY big companies doing a bad job at adapting them. Mean while websites on stuff like neocities are using webp.
THE FUCKING INDIE-WEB is using webp, meanwhile I cant even preview animated webp on my computer.

There is so many plot elements and parallels to existing mario games happening in the #supermariogalaxy movie from just the trailers alone that It makes me kinda worried. If the pacing in the last one was kinda sloppy then imagine how its gonna be in this one.
