I can't say much outside of ignoring/silencing artists who tend to draw him in a specific way. I mean, it's a fair criticism, and I also tend to look at it more based on the singular art than him having long hair in general (bc there have been situations where I didn't like how he was drawn etc)

That's fair! To be honest I think the first part goes a lot with the "character analysis" (and I was thinking exactly about the Astral scene etc, even if I think there it can be discussion/way to eventually explain it).
