Yeah the screen size difference is not as much between iPad and Mac but I think Mac has other challenges.

If the slot had been longer I would’ve loved to touch on macOS a little as well - especially SwiftUI for Mac vs Catalyst etc 🤓

Maybe you can talk about that some time? 😉

Thank you for sharing this 🙏 Was so nice to meet you in person and chat yesterday!

Such an honor to give my first conference talk at @swiftconnection.bsky.social yesterday - an amazing conference in a beautiful city!

Thanks to the organizers and helpers who made this possible and to the #iOS community as a whole for being so supportive and welcoming ☺️
Me on stage presenting my talk. There is a banner saying “Swift Connection 25” in front. A conference badge with the Swift Connection logo, my name and the word “Speaker” underneath. A snippet of the conference schedule showing my talk right after the coffee break. The title is “SwiftUI Apps that Effortlessly Scale from your Smallest to your Biggest Screen”

That’s @daylish.bsky.social a day planner with AlarmKit integration that I built over the summer, so I can finally make it to appointments (or catch the train) on time 😅

Thank you for the kind words, Anton! 🤩

If you’re curious here’s a demo video 😁👇

On the train to Paris for #SwiftConnection 🚄
First time speaking at a conference! Little nervous tbh… 😳

Oh and of course I'm not just wrapping up the final polish of my slides on the literal train there - who would do such a thing? 😅

Looking forward to meeting many fellow iOS folks again soon ☺️
A screenshot showing my plan for the day with the Eurostar train ride from Cologne to Paris and a focus timer that is nested DURING that time… :)

Wohoo 🥳 Finally submitted @daylish.bsky.social to the @revenuecat.com Shipaton last night 🚢

Since my original demo was too long, I needed to rewrite the script and record it all again 🫠 ... much catchier now IMO 😌

🚀 Good luck to all participants - excited to see what y'all have been building 🙌

Happy to report that we made it there exactly on time 🚴‍♂️💨
(One minute early, actually 😁)

Everyone who knows me in real life, knows what a testament to the effectiveness of @daylish.bsky.social this is 😅 🙈

@croissantapp.bsky.social is there any way to edit accounts that are added for @ mentioning? (Or at least see the actual handles that will be used for each service so we can double check before posting?)

Looks like I got an extra @ in front of @revenuecat.com there 🤦‍♂️ 😅
manuelkehl.bsky.social
Yo know, I already had a 4+ minute demo video for the TestFlight announcement and only later realized that the #shipaton rules say no longer than 3 minutes, so I had to rewrite the script and do it all again last minute 🫠

Note to self: read the submission rules EARLY in future hackathons 💡

☕️ Good morning! My morning's all scheduled and if things go as planned I should get a nice bike ride in AND finally wrap up recording my @daylish.bsky.social demo video for the @@revenuecat.com shipaton (last minute, I know - been a busy couple months 😅)

#BuildInPublic
A screenshot of Daylish with my morning schedule. It shows a current focus timer with the task of finalizing the demo video script, followed by preparation and bike ride to day care drop off and then bike ride back from there. After that until lunch I scheduled a time block to actually record the demo video.

Oh wow, thank you so much for including @daylish.bsky.social in your #TechCrunch article about #AppleIntelligence in 3rd party apps, @mehtology.bsky.social 🙏

Really appreciate the mention despite the feature still being in unreleased beta stage at this point 🤓

Excited to share more soon!

How developers are using Apple's local AI models with iOS 26 | TechCrunch

But I’m happy for you Mikaela!

Got plenty of tab bars to enjoy all over the OS 😜
manuelkehl.bsky.social
Haha I got used to it over the summer but I definitely wouldn’t say it has grown on me 😅

If they just turned down the “wobble factor” knob a *tiny bit* I think might actually like it but this jumpy jello blob is just too much for me 😭
manuelkehl.bsky.social
Yeah. I’m definitely in the “pro Liquid Glass” camp all things considered and have embraced it both as a user and a developer but boy is that tab bar jumpy and wobbly 😭😅
manuelkehl.bsky.social
Oooooh nice, iTerm2 got the Liquid Glass treatment on #macOS26 and I think it's looking really cool 😎

That tab bar is 😙🤌
A screenshot of item 2 running in drop down terminal mode on my Mac. There are two tabs open for each of my main app projects: Daylish and Zenitizer.

The tab bar has a nice, modern Liquid Glass appearance with a matching plus button in the top right corner.

Just get yourself a camping chair and lurk right outside your doorstep all day to be safe.

Not weird.

Definitely.

Totally normal.

I feel like the months between June and September is when the whole rest of the world is traveling, relaxing etc…

And then there’s us iOS devs right?! 🫠

But congrats for pulling it off! Your Liquid Glass implementation looks really slick 🤩

It wouldn’t be iOS update day if I didn’t join the party. 😉

Söka 3.0 is here with a refreshed experience, now with Liquid Glass support!

One of my favorite traditions after  OS updates is taking some time during all the excitement to read the super thorough @macstories.net reviews - always a great read 🤓☕️

This year, I was excited to see @daylish.bsky.social in the AlarmKit section of the #iOS26 review. Thank you @viticci.macstories
