First attempt and the Christmas tree 🎄 is upright in its stand but needs a little adjustment to try to get it looking vertical from most/all angles. That can be tricky given difficulty in manoeuvring single handed and the fact that they don't usually grow straight due to prevailing wind.

Later than usual but the first Xmas card has arrived. Given the cost of postage these days, I wonder if people will send fewer? I admit that I've thought about it but it isn't easy cutting people from lists.

They always say that using the right tools for a job makes a difference and they're not kidding. Just done some caulking and the new cartridge gun is much easier to use and kinder on your hands than the old one.

It's that time of the year where there's a lot of pressing deadlines, some more urgent than others and some easier to motivate yourself for. I need to press on, especially on the card and letter/note writing front: stressing about it doesn't get them written.
