Sometimes it's not bad writing, sometimes it's bad pacing and you need to edit everything and move it around to make it work.

I felt sad about personal things in 2025, then my brother and I talked about the trips we got to take and food we ate and friends we hung out with, so the overall year might have been shit, but tbh it wasn't all bad. I played lots of card games and ate good meals with good friends.
