Tim has a good take on this. It is a given that Trump will ride off with his looted million/billions from his Crypto scams and Real Estate deals and we will be left holding the bags. Its not like we were not declining but Trump has potentially turbo-charged it.

It seems dangerous and perverse to have to test each iteration of an established vaccine as if it is a new type of vaccine. On this basis we would never have had vaccines to combat covid.
