10 October 1846: William Buckland writes to a friend: 'At Lyme poor Mary Anning has nearly been burnt to death and has an attack of cancer. We are making a subscription for her'. Newspapers reported that her friends had opened a fund to help her at the Southampton meeting @britsciassoc.bsky.social.

Ma mère l’a vu ce matin au festival War On Screen dans ma ville natale de Châlons-en-Champagne : elle me dit « je me demande si le réalisateur est pas végane, y a quelque chose autour du vieux qui pense qu’à manger des crabes, une blague sur la différence de traitement entre le chien et le phoque… »

ahahhaha. mais trop bien... punaise.. elle a vu juste!!.. (bonus: le Pr. Buckland.. le personnage qui veut tout manger.. est un vrai perso. qui dans la réalité était encore plus étrange.. j'ai du le "normaliser" un peu pour pas qu'il ressemble à Tournesol)
