I often struggle to tell whether people are lovers, friends, or siblings... If they're very close, the only way I can tell is if they do or say something obvious, like kissing.

I only learned a while ago that New England only refers to the Northeastern US northeast of New York. Prior to that I thought it was just everything down to Maryland and Ohio, including NY, Pennsylvania, Delaware etc.

My hair goes through funny little cycles.
I don't condition it very much, because when I do, it feels really horrible for a few days until I wash it again. Then, after like 2 or 3 washes, it goes absolutely amazing for a week, then deteriorates (at which point I condition it again)
