As a long time pollinator advocate, I’m always amazed at the intricacies of biodiversity. Here, flies that mimic almost perfectly some wrongfully despised members of the social wasp group 🐝 🪰
Hey, it's Friday #FlyDay and these majestic flies are cosplaying as hornets. The mimicry scares birds and people alike and helps keep them from being eaten by predators.
