I find it amazing that people automatically wrote off Carrick, Holland & Woodgate even before their first match in charge. Well for me, this is some of the best football I’ve seen from Utd in years and years. Long may it continue. #mufc

Would love to see Utd get a midfielder in this window even if it’s a loan. I wouldn’t be too confident if Mainoo or Casemiro picked up an injury. Relying on Ugarte is a stretch.

It makes such a huge difference having a goalkeeper that you can trust. Lammens is solid. You can see how calm the defence are with him back there.

Hearing reports of United being interested in Johan Manzambi. A box to box style midfielder. Plays for Freiburg, where he has excelled.
Still only 20. Would certainly be an Ineos type buy. Young, hungry and bags of potential. £30m the transfer fee apparently.

So if Carrick manages to get us into the top 4 at the end of the season, playing decent football, should we consider him for the permanent role?
I say yes, maybe on a 12-18 month contract. Then take it from there.
If it carries on like this then he should definitely be considered in my opinion.
