it sucks that you can't just delete events- tristrike tuesdays may be entirely detrimental to the scene, but to its creators it's their pride and work of art almost. with skill caps in particular, even if they left, another would take it's place since we're used to having a Tuesday capped weekly now

If people want to run a tournament for the joy of it they should run a gimmick tournament. I think gimmick tournies are very healthy for the community as long as they happen with enough rarity to always be interesting (like smogon or party wheel)

what I would love to see moving forward is not less skill capped tournaments (I would actually, but it is a can of worms that cannot be unopened) but for aspiring players to play more outside their comfort zone, probably lose more, to review that and apply it to their future gameplay.
