"Obergefell is settled law" is to the 2028 election what "Roe is settled law" was to the 2016 election. Roe and Obergefell are supported by a majority of voters. Republicans will try hard to convince independents that Obergefell is safe, nothing to see here...just as they did with Roe in 2016 & 20.

This case was simply the wrong vehicle to do it. If a better case were presented for it, the right-wing majority would try to get rid of Obergefell.

Trump claims he wants direct payment, so he’s trying to gin up a deal where people would get checks with his signature, like the stimulus checks?

The execrable Nick Fuentes sums up his beliefs this way and the GOP can’t seem to decide if they’re openly with him or not. Hmmmm.

“Jews are running society, women need to shut the [expletive] up, Blacks need to be imprisoned for the most part, and we would live in paradise. It’s that simple.”

So Trump is willing to make people hungry in order to avoid making health insurance affordable.

Sure, why not.The median age of first time home buyers is 40. 42-million Americans are cut off food assistance.

This kind of idiocy is astounding. He says prices are down and that people are confused because Dems lie about it. From his tacky gold tschotske-choked room, babbling on about his ballroom. I can tell you this for sure, when money is tight, people know the price of every last thing they need.
Trump responds to a three-time Trump voter who is upset that prices haven't gone down:

“I think of groceries. It's an old-fashioned word, but it's a beautiful word. Beef, we have to get down, but we've got prices way down.”

I think Trump needs to keep telling people from his gilded palace that grocery prices are way down, housing and electricity prices are down, and everything is great because of his genius. They seem to like that.

Elon Musk will probably get shareholder votes that could make him the first trillionaire. 42-million Americans are cut off food assistance.

It’s almost as if building yourself a ballroom and bragging about your polished marble bathroom renovation while cutting off food assistance wasn’t really a winning strategy.

In light of immigration enforcement operations in the West Chicago area, Audrey Luhmann got together with a team of rapid responders to deliver candy to two area apartment complexes that she said were recently hit by immigration raids.

And that’s how reverse trick-or-treating was born.

Trump could restore SNAP benefits if he wanted to. He could protect people who need ACA supplements if he wanted to. He could release the Epstein files if he wanted to. He doesn’t want to.

Poverty is not red or blue. Hungry children and seniors are not pawns. Demonizing people in need is not moral, ethical, or faithful.

We are a wealthy powerful country with a president taking luxury planes and building himself a ballroom and making bagillions on crypto deals but we can’t feed hungry kids. I am so beyond pissed at what we’ve become.

So Maria Machado tells Trump HE should have gotten the Nobel and now he’s going to do regime change in oil-rich Venezuela?
“I’m not going to necessarily ask for a declaration of war. I think we’re just going to kill people that are bringing drugs into our country…We’re going to kill them. You know, they’re going to be, like, dead” - the antiwar president! Give him a Nobel!
