from sophomore to senior year in high school I was sent to a christian boarding school and had to live in the boys dorm. in the dorm there was a "TV room" where people would watch sports and I would go in there and pretend to like and enjoy sports sometimes for the sole purpose of 1/n
When I was in school I ran for student council president for the sole purpose of mocking the idea of the position and the whole endeavor entirely putting up posters around the school that said "I'm Awesome what's your excuse" which made people pissed at me which made me happy.

The idea that Christians feel like they're the underdog never made sense to me. You can't portray yourself to be the underdog when you also believe you have an Omnipotent being on your side to the detriment of everyone else. Even as a kid it was obvious to me that the real underdogs in the story1/2

When I was a kid I would sing all the hymns but replace any instances of "god" "lord" "jesus" etc with Satan and no one knew because everyone else's singing was louder than mine
