Had an amazing time volunteering with the 26th Precinct Community Council today, helping distribute turkeys and food to families in West Harlem for the Thanksgiving holiday. It’s heartwarming to see the power of community coming together this holiday season.

This past Friday, I joined Assemblymember Jordan Wright at 3333 Broadway for a turkey distribution to ensure that our neighbors have access to food heading into Thanksgiving. Grateful to everyone who came out, volunteered, and supported our community!

Great community conversation with Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado on the importance of passing the New York Health Act. We had an amazing crowd that’s motivated to win universal healthcare for all New Yorkers. We need bold leadership now and pass the New York Health Act!

We’ve lost a huge housing activist with Michael McKee’s passing. His integrity, courage, & passion inspired my own activism. I was honored to be endorsed by Tenants PAC last yr, when I ran for Assembly, & speak at their fundraiser. Grateful for his legacy. Rest in power, Michael.

Really fun Halloween Costume Party with the 142nd Street Dog Run! This is Luna’s first Halloween, she dressed up as a witch, & made new friends. Thanks to the 142nd St Dog Run, Shaun Abreu, & many community members for bringing West Harlem’s dog community together!

Yesterday was my first meeting as an elected District Leader with the Manhattan Democrats. It was an honor to represent my community and cast my vote in support of endorsing Zohran. Excited to help elect Zohran in the General Election and fight for a New York we all deserve!
