I don't know where this idea came from, but Zanka in this AU is a bit of an artist, he enjoys painting the most but with a more... "sophisticated" take to it (if you know what I mean).

Mind the note at the top left; it's a personal headcanon I got and decided to use it on this AU too.

Don't ask me why the fringe hair over her right eye, I just think it would look neat... I can also use that to make her more intimidating and sinister if the scene asks to it.

In this AU she likes to collect pins and decorate her uniform with them from time to time (for much of August's dismay LOL). In this sketch, I made them as references to irl games. The only pin that never changes is the one on her right arm, which is a reference to Soul Eater.

So, it's more "story-heavy" than "action 24/7" like a normal shounen would do (but don't get me wrong, we'll still get a lot of action).

There's also some lore expansion I created; some original, and others based on headcanons/theories.
By "seinen" I mean that the story subjects and themes are talked about more directly and heavily, there's more blood and gore and cursing/cussing than in canon.

I'm currently writing down a #gachiakuta AU! The "alternative universe" twist is that it is a "seinen-esque" reinterpretation of the story (everyone is 5 years older than in canon).
