That’s a fascinating take! I haven’t read that comic, but it fits Charr well. With men, it’s not that he refused to submit, he just hadn’t met one he could truly trust, while still learning to trust himself. With Jewel, he had that bond, but trust between men has a different weight.

That’s an interesting thought! I actually haven’t imagined their fur color changing with the seasons. The difference between Charr and Tobias is more about subtle variation within the same color family. I imagine their tones might lose a bit of saturation as they age, though.

That’s true, it’s natural to see his father as the villain. But I also believe he became that way for a reason. There’s a cycle of pain behind it, passed down through generations. I hope someday Charr can break that chain!
