Slowly working my way through the new Defunctland Living Characters video and some of the challenges and solutions covered in the video are so incredibly interesting to me, because they are the exact same ones we face as video game narrative designers!

Jenny and I visited the ACMI museum in Melbourne last year, it was incredible! We learned about phenakistoscope discs there, and it inspired this day-to-night transition in Dance of Theseus. #indiegamedev #art #animation

True story I met the CEO of Infold games today at a random event, he (and his friend) was trying out our friend's game while we were chatting to that friend about our new project. Apparently they heard half of our "pitch" and chased us down at another booth to ask us about the second half lolol

Making video games has changed me, because the patience and delayed gratification required in making a video game is INSANE. Now I've written, like, 60k words of fanfic just for fun and have not posted any of it yet. High school me could never fathom.

Happy 1 year anniversary of Zero-Sum Heart! We developed it in ~6 months, so it has officially been twice as long since. As we spent last year chipping away at a much bigger project (more on that to come!), we really began appreciating ZSH more as something small, tight, and beautiful.
