The Trump administration claims tax cuts will bring manufacturing back to the US. Really? If business is interested in increasing manufacturing, why was NAFTA quickly used to get rid it? It was clear back then that NAFTA would gut US manufacturing. Another hoax like "Trickledown Economics".

If we want something enough, we can all make up a reason to justify doing it. Even if what we want is harmful to ourselves or others. That is the reason for laws.

Remember the Declaration of Independence was a document expressing the goal of what we hoped our new nation would be. When we won the Revolutionary War, we fell short of that goal. Slavery was still legal, and Native Americans were being pushed off their lands. The struggle still continues today.

If necessary jobs were not available that US citizens refuse to take, no immigrant "issue" would exist. Most immigrants come to the U.S. because jobs are available.

Kudos to North Carolina's Republican Senator Tom Tillis for voting against the "Big Beautiful Bill" knowing it would cut Medicare and Medicaid for his constituents.

Presidential actions should require assurance of their legality from legal council before implementation. This is said not to devalue the importance of the appeals court, but to seek presidential accountability. Justice unnecessarily delayed is justice denied.

As Trump's policies fail, he will never admit, and is incapable of admitting an error in judgement.You will never hear a "mia culpa" from the Republican Party. Forget that! We must move ahead, making our priority the improvement of US citizen lives.

Supreme Court has just voted to allow Trump to the fire heads of independent agencies. Chief Roberts says this balances the executive power vested in the presidency.
