I have just finished The Court of Broken Knives, book one in the Empires of Dust trilogy by Anna Smith Spark @annasmithspark.bsky.social and what a great read it was. Interesting grey characters who do bad and terrible things. I really enjoyed the way it was written. Now onto book 2. 😀

I bought these 3 books of the TCity trilogy by Mark Adlard this week from Stockholms Science Fiction Antikvariat book store, purely for the awesome picture all 3 books create.
What other books have art that make up a bigger picture?

I am halfway through The Court of Broken Knives by @annasmithspark.bsky.social and loving it. Great world building, characters and very grim at times. Exactly what I was expecting. Looking forward to finishing this one and the other 2 in the trilogy. 😀

Just finished reading Stars and Bones by @garethlpowell.bsky.social A really enjoyable fast paced sci fi story with great characters. I will be getting more of his work. 😀

My first book of 2024 done. The Kaiju Preservation Society by @scalzi.com. A great fast paced enjoyable read. I also liked the authors note at the end explaining how the book came about and the book that didnt. And onto my next read....
