A writer friend who is a teacher gave me a wonderful opportunity to have a video call with her creative writing class. We discussed world building, what makes a good sequel and how action can lead into dramatic scenes. And they indulged me in talking about my own books #writingcommunity

I just finished the first of the Dungeon Crawler Carl novels. So good. A few chapters in, I wasn't sure about it. I could see why people were enjoying it and recommending it, but I wasn't sure it was for me. It felt maybe a little too silly a meta. But by chapter 6 I was hooked.💙📚🪐
