Here's one from a few years ago; 'Union', acrylic painting on panel. I love to see nature taking over the places we leave behind as well as the effects of time on abandoned buildings. The painting I am currently working on is very much in this vein.

A small drawing featuring the path to Rogie Falls in Scotland. I started with a watercolour layer and then used pencil on top. I like mixing drawing and painting in a single piece of work.

I like to create pictures with a story, where there’s a bit of uncertainty or something unexpected. This one is called ‘Inside Out’. I’m working on a painting that has a similar feel to it now.

A small pencil drawing featuring an abandoned house I discovered when travelling in County Donegal. There were a few buildings like this dotted about the landscape. I'm quite pleased with this one and will be doing an alternative version using colour.

Another older piece of work found when moving into my new studio. This one is ‘Last Days’ (acrylic paint on panel). It features a row of houses that were by the Riverside Recreation Centre in Stafford, a place I used to visit a lot as a kid.
