Finally watched last night's Jazz game

Looool we absolutely stole one with Ace Bailey. Defense, passing, and handle all way way better than what he showed at Rutgers

I'm not sure we'd even pick up Cody Williams' option at this point?

Hendricks looks terrific but the defense isn't impactful yet

Oh 100%. I think it is very easy to play intentionally and still only win 25-30 games. the idea is that we're fine being the 6th worst record instead of simply trying to be the Literal Worst Team

I think Kyle is ahead of Svi; Hardy was notable last season for preferring to start Svi if there was a paucity of capable players or just bench him outright. I wouldn't read into his start at all

Love should only play if three big men are out, right? Walker/Lauri/Flip all being out was key there

Ace then attacks the closeout with force and athleticism instead of settling

Last night was just a slam dunk win for the Utah Jazz. I don't care if it's 1 preseason game; the vision has real shape now and Utah has to build on that:

1. Ace Bailey is a star
2. Brice Sensabaugh has reached the pantheon of NBA shooters
3. Keyonte MIGHT actually figure out this lead guard role

Putting up 127 against Udoka's defense at mostly full strength is intriguing

Keyonte had an easy 9 assists. Ace looks like a star. Sensabaugh still a wildly deadly shooter.

The Jazz look to be the leagues worst transition defense again by a country mile. Whatever coaching is happening there just isn't working.

Whats notable is that to be as bad as they are, they fuck up in new ways all the time. It's just always a different player, different situation, etc. Always bad
