Indeed. We should remember the NFL is a consortium of billionaire owners, many of whom are Republicans. The entire event is to promote and advance their product across the world. This was not a coup by undercover woke people.

It is shameful when a President believes the oath he took only applies to serving the people of states that voted for him.

Meanwhile, the terror ICE is inflicting on our communities sparks fear among all kids, regardless of their immigration status. “Why are there soldiers all around?” “Where did they take our friend?”

When you are animated by cruelty and devoid of basic human decency, the notion of an apology is simply beyond his ability to fathom. He denigrates the office he holds on a daily basis. Simply a national embarrassment.
February 7, 2026 at 7:03 PM
Another reminder Trump doesn’t understand or respect the duty of his office to serve the entire nation, not just the minority who support him.

Trump’s M.O. for leverage becomes more obvious every day. 1) express outrage about a person or place that is “just horrible.” 2) threaten to bomb or withhold funding or legal protections to which they are otherwise entitled 3) demand they cave in and do what you command

A sad loss. Pacific Dining Car was the go-to place for breakfast meetings during my time in elected office.

Painful to watch Trump gut what was once one of our nation’s most important cultural institutions. He fired a staff of top arts administrators, alienated artists and offended audiences, leaving a hollow shell. This “living memorial” to President Kennedy has been defaced.
February 2, 2026 at 1:19 AM
Bluster and exaggeration are central to Trump’s image. Those who oppose him are never “my fellow Americans.” Instead, any and all foes are “terrorists, radicals, lunatics, deranged” etc. His extreme and divisive rhetoric keeps his base energized and ready to threaten his opponents.
February 1, 2026 at 1:30 AM
Their false narrative is always a version of “they had it coming.” Trump is always more interested in the spin than any facts or evidence. At the core this reflects his cruelty and lack of any human decency.
February 1, 2026 at 1:25 AM
A true President uses restraint, discipline, and discretion before making public statements. But Trump traffics in nonsense, conspiracy theories, and petty attacks.
February 1, 2026 at 1:10 AM
Controlling the narrative is what matters for Trump. Actual facts and evidence are beside the point. The core of the message is always divisive- “us against them/ good against evil.” Never remorse or apology, only “they had it coming.” Americans deserve a President with character, not just cruelty

A reminder Trump is devoid of care or understanding on most issues. He rambles off the top of his head in order to make it through the next 15 minute news cycle. In this case his current narrative on MN “sad, but he had it coming,” prevails over his care for the 2nd Amendment.
January 27, 2026 at 7:12 PM
The Trump message each time a citizen is killed is some version of “they had it coming.” No remorse, no apology, no sympathy for the families. The victims were “radical, terrorist, mean to officers.” The victims are always “the other” and never seem to warrant respect from the President.

If ICE was serious about deporting dangerous criminals, it seems their tactics might involve stealth and undercover operations. Parading down a public street as masked stormtroopers might tip off the bad guys. This is about provoking confrontation with protesters in Democratic neighborhoods.

Trump is a reminder the rule of law is not self-enforcing. The presidency requires a man of character and deep respect for the Constitution. A President needs discipline and restraint, not to ask “can I get away with this?” But rather to ask “what is the right thing to do?”

The global order cannot survive a president who treats sovereign nations like real‑estate listings. Donald Trump’s worldview is a direct threat to alliances, stability, and the basic rules that keep the world from sliding into chaos.
