Barrack Obama nominated Merrick Garland to SCOTUS but was blocked by McConnell, saying it was too close to the election (nearly 8 mos prior).

Later Amy Coathanger Barrett was nominated by Trump less than two months before the election. McConnell raised no objections...

It's interesting that Republicans won't acknowledge the fact that immigrants pay taxes. It's interesting because it wouldn't surprise me if some immigrants pay more taxes than what a lot of billionaires/millionaires pay (& the rich want the focus to stay on the immigrants instead of themselves).
