I am a climate scientist and this is correct.

As the planet warms, storms like the one today are getting stronger… and as the Arctic is warming twice as fast as the mid latitudes, it increases the risk of the “freezer door” swinging open.

Unbelievable! Why does the #NPS continue to allow #Aramark to be concessionaire in #Yosemite. NPS already kicked them out of #CraterLake. Then Aramark let historic #Wawona Hotel deteriorate until it was condemned. They clearly are trying to squeeze every dime they can.

This is just what we need. Michigan has three native elm species (Ulmus americana, rubra, and thomasii) and all are already suffering to varying degrees from the introduced Dutch elm disease. This sawfly will probably only make their plight worse. 🌍
