Stories about atrocities during the American Revolution, 1775-1783. Colonel Daniel Brodhead's soldiers destroyed the village of Indaochaic (Lichtenau) and murdered Native American prisoners near Goschachgunk (Coshocton) in April 1781. More at this link: resources.ohiohistory.org/ohj/search/d....

Lieutenant General Arthur Gregg served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1981. Lieutenant Colonel Charity Adams served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946. A U.S. Army fort was renamed for Gregg and Adams in 2023 but that honor was taken away in 2025. Adams interview: www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3sn....

José López was a soldier in the U.S. Army and served during the Second World War. He earned the Medal of Honor for his heroism on December 17th, 1944 near Krinkelt, Belgium. López was born in 1910 in Mexico and died in Texas in 2005. An interview (2/2): collections.lib.utexas.edu/catalog/utbl....

Stories about atrocities during the American Revolution, 1775-1783. The Sullivan-Clinton Campaign took place from June 17th to October 3rd, 1779. A video about the event is at this link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyXZ.... A 1929 U.S. Post Office Department stamp later commemorated the campaign.

General Richard Cavazos served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1984. He earned the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions on June 14th-15th, 1953 near Sagimak, Korea. A U.S. Army fort was renamed for Cavazos in 2023 but that honor was taken away in 2025. More details: www.army.mil/medalofhonor....

Macario Garcia was an enlisted soldier in the U.S. Army and served during the Second World War. He earned the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions on November 27th, 1944 near Grosshau, Germany. Garcia was born in 1920 in Mexico and died in Texas in 1972. More details: www.army.mil/article/2107....
